EQUINE

Why buy from us?

Since we only use the top mares and stallions in our breeding program, that have demonstrated superior qualities, our foals will be well equipped to take you to the highest levels of the dressage sport.  Each foal will have the best possible start in life, by being foaled out at a world class veterinary and foaling clinic in Granbury, Texas.  Moreover, each foal will recieve daily handling and personalized attention, since only a few are born each year.

The Hanoverian

The Hanoverian originated in northern Germany in the state of Lower Saxony, the former kingdom of Hannover, where a flourishing horse-breeding industry has existed for 400 years.  The State Stud was established at Celle in 1735, and the Hanoverian Studbook was officially begun in 1888.  300 years ago the Hanoverian was bred to serve as a robust carriage and military horse; however, since the end of World War II, the breeding goal has been to produce a more versatile performance horse.  The Hanoverian has natural impulsion and light and elastic gaits characterized by a ground-covering walk, a floating trot, and a soft, round, rhythmic canter.

Our Program

Our program’s primary focus is producing foals with outstanding temperaments and athleticism. As such, our philosophy is that the mare is the most important part of the equation and contributes the most to the foal – especially temperament. Therefore, we’ve started our program with solid, award-winning Hanoverian mares with excellent pedigrees. To add to that, we look for top-ranked Warmblood sires which will be able to pass down the best genetics to the foals. Since we only breed a few foals a year, each foal will receive special, individualized attention from day one and will come to you as a well-adjusted citizen.
